Amy, who lives on Harborough’s Tungstone estate, said: “We collected the food at a weekend session of isolation bingo that I help to run – and which is going down a storm.
“Our neighbours and other residents here have been absolutely fantastic.
“They’ve just been so generous – I can’t speak highly enough of them.”

“That went well and she was bouncing on her trampoline again as soon as we got home so she’s fine,” said Amy, who runs Miss Amy’s Academy of Dance on Abbey Street, Harborough.
She’s now hoping that her ailing six-month-old baby boy Rex will have a crucial heart operation urgently.
“He has a serious heart condition known as PDA.
“That means he has a valve open that should have shut within 72 hours of him being born,” said Amy.

“And we are hoping that he will have the surgery on his heart he so badly needs in the next two weeks at Glenfield Hospital or in Birmingham.”
